GO trains to ease Quebec chaos
By ANTONELLA ARTUSO -- Toronto Sun

Ontario is dispatching GO Transit trains to Quebec to help the province cope with traffic problems arising from the overpass collapse that killed five people on the weekend.

Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty spoke by telephone yesterday to Quebec Premier Jean Charest, who told him there has been a dramatic increase in demand for commuter rail service since Saturday's tragedy.

A rail line runs along the site of the collapse in Laval, McGuinty said.

"We will be -- on behalf of the people of Ontario -- supplying Quebec with a GO train locomotive and cars to help them overcome some of the real challenges that are presented right now," McGuinty said.
