Women born in 2004 expected to live longer than men: report

Women born in 2004 are expected to live about 4.8 years longer than their male counterparts, according to Stats Canada report.

A man’s life expectancy is now 77.8 year while women are 82.6.

The widest gap between male and female life expectancy during the last 25 years was in 1979 at 7.4 years.
