QUESNEL, B.C. -- A two-year-old boy in the B.C. interior town of Quesnel has been seized after being found with cocaine in his system.
The RCMP say they were called to G.R. Baker hospital after doctors found a woman and her child suffering symptoms of cocaine intoxication.
Tests confirmed that both had cocaine in their bodies.
It's not yet known how the drug was administered to the little boy.
Police say the child has been placed into protective foster care and the Children's Ministry is investigating.
The parents of the child are known to police.
