Several collisions on GTA roads this morning have led to the death of two people.

Drivers not adjusting to the gloomy weather, slick streets may be to blame for the death of a woman pedestrian on Warden Ave. this morning, south of St. Clair Ave.

And a driver was killed in a collision at Hwy. 50 and Hwy. 7 in Brampton.

Police are on the scene and motorists should expect road closures and delays.

There were a smattering of other less-serious collisions and road mishaps this morning as well, including a two-lane closure on the southbound Hwy. 400, just south of King Rd. a tractor-trailer crashed into a guardrail resulting in a fuel spill.

The clean-up is expected to last through the lunch hour.
