COLLINGWOOD, Ont. - A west-end Toronto man faces charges after two pedestrians were struck east of Collingwood Friday evening.

Provincial police say a 32-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, both from Wasaga Beach, were walking along the shoulder of River Road West when they were hit.

The man was taken to hospital in Toronto with serious but stable injuries.

The woman was treated in Collingwood hospital and released.

Radenko Bukvic, 28, has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm.
