CALGARY - Police have charged a 19-year-old man after a group of people were struck by a car outside a southeast restaurant early Saturday.

They said a dispute broke out between two groups of people at a restaurant in 4000 block of 17 Ave. S.E. just before 4 a.m.

It spilled into the parking lot where one of the individuals got into his vehicle and drove into the group congregated outside the restaurant.

He was stopped by police a short distance away and taken into custody.

The victims were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Trung Nguyen, 19, is charged with impaired driving over .08 and four counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
