Man accused of uttering threats shares love of guns online
By QMI Agency

MONTREAL - A Montreal man accused of uttering threats on Facebook has a history violence, according to chat sessions obtained by a Montreal newspaper.

David Abitbol, 28, who is also charged with possessing child pornography and unproper storage of a firearm, wrote that he has killed animals and loves guns, according to the daily newspaper La Press.

In MSN conversations with a friend between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1 of this year, Abitbol allegedly wrote that he likes looking at violent images on the Internet.

He also reportedly said he's killed animals with guns and that he's never killed a person "but it will happen."

He extolled the virtues of his latest acquisition, a Mossberg 500 shotgun, which can make "heads explode."

He said he'd like to join the army to satisfy his killer instincts.

Quebec police refused to comment on the chat sessions obtained by La Press.

Abitbol will appear in court again Wednesday.
