Amber Alert cancelled for B.C. boy, 3
By QMI Agency

An Amber Alert was cancelled Friday morning for a three-year-old B.C. boy who police suspected was abducted by his father.

The toddler was found safe and sound in White Fish, Montana, the RCMP confirmed.

His 39-year-old father is in police custody.

Police issued the alert Thursday afternoon when the man failed to return to the Elk Valley, B.C., hotel room where he was on a supervised visit with his son.

It was believed the pair crossed the border into Montana, and police were concerned the toddler was in "imminent danger."

The Missoulian reported Friday that the man's vehicle was seen crossing the border at Eureka around 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

A citizen spotted the vehicle parked on a side street and reported it to police.
