GTA anti-acorn mom cracks
By Sun News

The Menzoid visits the Vaughan, Ont., school where a mother of a student with a nut allergy was pushing for the removal of surrounding oak trees.

In case you are just joining us, GTA mom Donna Giustizia, was fighting to have oak trees near her child's school cut down because of what she claimed were 'severe' allergies. Oak trees carry acorns, a type of tree-nut that could trigger an allergic reaction.

Giustizia was worried about kids who could come in contact with the acorns and along with that, the possible stress that could be caused knowing the nuts are near school property.

Giustizia withdrew her demand earlier this week, citing the 'sensational' coverage her initial request received.
