EDMONTON – A city woman is accused of pepper spraying a man in a rec centre parking lot following an alleged road rage.

Around 11 a.m. on Sunday, employees of Millennium Place in Sherwood Park, east of Edmonton, contacted police when a 42-year-old man entered the facility for help after being pepper sprayed in the parking lot outside.

He was located in a nearby washroom attempting to rinse the contaminant from his face.

Mounties in Strathcona County determined the attack followed an alleged road rage episode involving the man and a woman driving in separate vehicles on Highway 16.
