Toronto Boxing Day storm in the forecast
By Irene Thomaidis, QMI Agency

(QMI Agency files)

TORONTO — We won’t be getting a white Christmas, but it looks like Boxing Day will be an entirely different story.

Environment Canada released a special weather statement for the Greater Toronto Area and much of southern Ontario early Monday warning of “significant” snowfall.

A low-pressure system will start brewing over Texas on Christmas Day then head over to a much chillier southern Ontario on Wednesday, leaving the potential for heavy accumulation.
