Family rescued from elevator filling with water

CALGARY - It was less than ten minutes but likely felt a lot longer for a couple and tot trapped inside a elevator filling with water Wednesday morning.

The two adults and toddler were on the main floor of a downtown condominium in an elevator when they became trapped inside about 8:30 a.m.

Fire crews called to the contend with the trapped trio in the building 10 St. and 11 Ave. S.W. found a burst pipe on a higher floor causing water to seep into the elevator.
