Port Moody, B.C., police are responsible for making reparations to more than a dozen motorists hit with driving suspensions after it was discovered cops used faulty breathalyzers, according to B.C.’s justice minister.

Shirley Bond told reporters Thursday she has also ordered all B.C. police agencies to recalibrate their breathalyzers.

“I am not happy that this happened,” she said, adding those particular drivers’ records will be cleared as a result of the bad calibrations in Port Moody.

The Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner (OPCC) reviewed 176 cases from Port Moody, where it was suspected a faulty breathalyzer was used to administer roadside tests.
