Maybe you were stuck in traffic. Perhaps you just finished shoveling snow for two hours.
No matter. While you were hard at work, creative Twitter types used jumped on #snowday to craft a series of hilarious tweets.
Stateside, forecasters dubbed a blizzard that belted parts of the northeastern U.S., Nemo.
Not surprisingly, Twitter users had a bit of fun with that one.
And while it might have been fun and games for some, the City of Vaughan was forced to apologize after a tweet from its official Twitter account called some of its residents an obscene name.
"Everyone on my street has double gararges (sic) ...who are these f---nuts who don't put their car in the garage when we get 2 feet of snow? #dumb," read the message, sent out to the city's approximately 1,200 followers at 7:23 a.m. Friday morning.
The message sparked several hundred re-tweets.
We're not sure if there are any Jedi mind tricks that can save the culprit behind that message.
