CALGARY - One miracle down, one miracle to go.

Other Albertans may welcome Family Day as a holiday to celebrate and spend time together.

For four-year-old Brooke Aubuchon, Family Day means packing her suitcases for New York City, as her family prays the courageous little girl will be around for countless holidays to come.

“We leave on the 19th at 8:30 in the morning,” said Robin Brand, Brooke’s understandably nervous mom.

It’s a journey of hope — hope for that second miracle.
