HALIFAX - National Defence and Canadian Forces says a search and rescue helicopter was not used for a fishing trip in Newfoundland last year.

A photo posted on Facebook last year showed the CH-146 Griffon next to No Name Lake. Some commented that it appeared Armed Forces personnel seen in the photo milling nearby were fishing.

After an investigation, the military says that wasn't the case.
