Border officials say they nabbed 31.9 kg of cocaine from the luggage of a man who arrived at Montreal-Trudeau Airport.

The load was contained in two suitcases, Canada Border Services Agency said in a news release Wednesday. CBSA said its agents searched the bags and found the drugs hidden in 63 packages of powdered soy milk.

Testing confirmed that the powder was cocaine.

The traveller arrived from Jamaica on Feb. 27. He was arrested and turned over to RCMP.

The investigation is ongoing.

CBSA said its officers carried out 205 drug seizures at the airport last year.
