Exclusive: Rob Ford on Ass-Gate
'Never accuse me of stealing or screwing around'
By Sue-Ann Levy, QMI Agency

Thomson crying wolf?

Mayor Rob Ford says he can stomach being accused of many things — even being called fat.

But never call him a philanderer or suggest he has the wandering eye (or in this case, hand.)

“I don’t screw around (and) I never have,” he told the Toronto Sun in an exclusive interview Friday in the wake of Ass-Gate, the latest controversy to plague the mayor. “You can accuse me of all kinds of things but never accuse me of stealing or screwing around.”

In one of the most bizarre allegations to surface yet about our controversial — and far too regularly harassed mayor — his former political rival, Sarah Thomson contended on Facebook early Friday morning and later in the media that Ford grabbed her derriere and told her he wished she’d been in Florida with him last week because his wife wasn’t there.

This incident occurred, allegedly, while at a packed and popular event held by the Canadian Jewish Political Action Committee (CJPAC).
