CALGARY – Searchers have recovered the body of a man who fell into a crevasse while skiing in Yoho National Park.

The crew of seven located Mark Taylor, a manager with the City of Abbotsford, in a crevasse late Tuesday afternoon after he went missing March 12.

"Rescuers had to shovel through several metres of snow inside the crevasse to recover his body," said Parks Canada spokesman Omar McDadi in a release.
