We should find out Monday how much cash the federal government is willing to pledge toward the Scarborough subway.
Finance Minister Jim Flaherty is set to make a subway announcement in Scarborough around 10 a.m.
Mayor Rob Ford is expected to attend the event at the Don Montgomery recreation centre.
Both Ford and Flaherty joined Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Sunday where he came out with a surprise pledge to fund the Scarborough transit project. So far the feds haven't revealed how much cash they would contribute - the city has asked for $660 million.
It still isn't clear whether the province will climb on board with the plan or keep pushing for its shorter subway funded entirely by the Ontario government.
The Sun is in Scarborough for the announcement. Keep checking back for updates.
