TORONTO - Mayor Rob Ford is benching himself when it comes to supporting the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games.

Ford fired off an angry letter to Toronto 2015 CEO Ian Troop last week in the wake of the Toronto Sun revealing the expenses of organizing team executives. He has yet to hear back about his Sept. 30 letter.

“I haven’t got a response back,” Ford said at City Hall on Friday. “I’m very disappointed with the people at Pan Am and I’m not supporting Pan Am until things change.”

He called the severance packages for executives “ridiculous.”
