OWEN SOUND, ONT. - As many as one-quarter of the 600 students at a southern Ontario public school may be kept home Wednesday because of concerns about an ominous message painted on the school.

"When the lights go out on Nov. 13 the innocent will die," reads the graffiti at Peninsula Shores District School, a K-12 school in Wiarton.

But police and school officials said Tuesday that the graffiti does not present a credible threat, though police continued to investigate leads.
