TORONTO — Mayor Rob Ford offered to do a urine test for Conrad Black.
The offer to do a drug and alcohol test came up during a one-on-one interview between the embattled mayor and Black for The Zoomer on the Vision TV channel.
Black sat down with Ford in his City Hall office on Friday. The interview wasn’t supposed to air until next Monday but was pushed ahead to this Monday at 9 p.m. due to “overwhelming interest and demand.”
In a clip of the interview posted early Monday, Ford — who admitted to smoking crack cocaine in a “drunken stupor” — appears to be stressing he has given up drugs and alcohol entirely.
