TORONTO - A man fell to his death in a tragic accident at a frat house in the Annex early Saturday, Toronto Police say.

Toronto Police say officers responded to an unknown trouble call at the Beta Theta Pi house on Lowther Ave., at Huron St., around 3:10 a.m.

“They found a male victim, in his mid-20s, on the ground with severe head injuries,” Sgt. Rick Gibillini, of 53 Division, said Saturday.

The young man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead, he said.

The victim, whose name was not immediately released, is believed to be a Ryerson University student.

Sources say he forgot his keys and was attempting to enter the house through a window when he tumbled from a third-floor fire escape.
