CALGARY - Officials are investigating after a plane knocked a van over at the Calgary airport Monday.

Emergency crews were out about 9 a.m. after an Air Canada Jazz plane bumped into a catering cube van and knocked it over.

“There was no impact to operations,” said Jody Moseley with the Calgary Airport Authority.

“There will be an investigation to see what happened.”

A spokesman from the Transportation Safety Board said the investigation will be left to airport and airline officials.

There were no passengers on the plane at the time.

Adam Loria with Calgary EMS said paramedics assessed the male driver of the van on the scene, but determined he had not suffered any significant injuries.
