TORONTO -- Councillor Doug Ford urged Premier Kathleen Wynne to “grow up” Thursday and quit snubbing his brother.

Mayor Rob Ford was still lamenting Wynne’s refusal to meet him or call him — and suggested on his weekly interview with a Washington, D.C., sports radio station that he’s now willing to settle for a text message. But deputy mayor Norm Kelly revealed he had his own phone conversation with Wynne on Wednesday — while Ford was still waiting for a response — and expects to meet with her “in the near future” after asking for a meeting himself.

The ongoing standoff between the mayor and the premier led to a fuming Councillor Ford coming out swinging at the Ontario Liberal leader.
