TORONTO -- Love him or hate him, you have to admit Rob Ford is looking pretty damn good.

The nose and jaw are sharper, the eyes clearer, the cheeks less flushed, the chins fewer. I'm told his belt is six notches tighter.

The Incredible Shrinking Mayor. Almost 40 pounds gone, and counting.

In a world exclusive, I just sweated with him at the gym. Cue the Rocky theme.

"This is critical," he tells me earlier, after chicken breast and vegetables washed down by water. "The only way people are going to respect me, to bring back my image, is if I lose weight. The rest falls into place."
