There are conflicting legal opinions on whether alleged crack video extortionist Alexander “Sandro” Lisi could be charged for socializing with Mayor Rob Ford by breaching his bail conditions.

And there are questions whether the mayor himself could be charged for being a party to Lisi’s alleged breach.

Lisi, 35, who faces an extortion charge, is accused of threatening two alleged Rexdale gang members who were trying to peddle the infamous video allegedly showing the mayor smoking crack and making racist and homophobic comments.

Lisi’s bail condition prohibits him from associating with anyone known to him to have a criminal record except while in the presence of counsel.
