OTTAWA -- An Ottawa man will need to find the closest bus stop after a speedy run down Hwy 401 Sunday.

Severe winter driving conditions didn't stop the man from racing by officers who were investigating a crash, east of Napanee.

The 20-year-old driver was heading westbound around 1:15 p.m. when an officer at the scene happened to check the radar as the BMW raced by. He was clocked at 168 km/h.

The man's vehicle was seized at the scene and won't be returned for seven days.

He will appear in court in Napanee on Feb. 27.
