TORONTO - Ontario is retooling the driver’s licence renewal program for motorists 80 years of age and older.

Currently, drivers 80 and over must pass a written knowledge test every two years to keep their licence.

The Ministry of Transportation announced Tuesday that it will drop the written exam and instead require seniors to take two screening tests.
