OTTAWA - After a frantic five-hour search, police found the teen daughter of one of their own.

It was alleged 18-year-old Harmony Nhin was abducted by her ex-boyfriend around supper time on Tuesday. Police warned the man she was with was considered armed and dangerous.

Nhin was found just before 10 p.m. when police stopped a vehicle along Highway 416.

Nhin is the daughter of an Ottawa police officer.

There are not believed to be any injuries.

Charges are pending against 20-year-old Andrew Bettencourt, police said.
