TORONTO -- From Grumpy Cat to Henri le Chat Noir, the cat video film festival being held in Toronto next month will have all your favourite feline Internet stars, and feature an appearance by Laureen Harper.
The Prime Minister and his wife are cat foster parents for the Ottawa Humane Society. The couple regularly takes in animals who need special care with health or behaviour issues before they are ready to be adopted: 24 Sussex has reportedly hosted some 87 foster cats.
The PM once asked Facebook fans to help name the family's new grey tabby, and posted photos of little Stanley on his Google Plus profile page.
Laureen -- who once told QMI Agency her wedding party included two cats, one outfitted in a specially made bow tie, the other in a lace collar -- will be the special guest at Just for Cats: Internet Cat Video Film Festival which is on for one day only, April 17, at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto.
