Why can't a mayor have a drink?

TORONTO -- The city should have a mayor who is not afraid to have a wobbly pop with the people on St. Patrick's Day or any other day.

What the hell is wrong with that?

Nothing. Ask John Tory, who did exactly that at Allen's on the Danforth Monday.

"Just don't ask me how I got here and how I am getting home," Tory teased while speaking with a reporter.

Allen's, he explained, is a short subway ride to where he has lived the past seven years.

Tory having a beer was caught on video and he was not hiding it. He was promoting it.
