Mayor Rob Ford “appeared intoxicated” on St. Patrick’s Day weekend and allegedly warned City Hall security he was going to “get” the former security guard who wrote a report about his behaviour on St. Patrick’s Day 2012.

City documents obtained by the Toronto Sun through a Freedom of Information request show Ford appeared drunk to City Hall security as he walked through the building and out to grab a taxi on March 15.

City Hall security filed a 23-page report from the March 15 encounter with the mayor because of the alleged threat he made in front of the two security guards towards the former security guard who is now employed in another city division. The report notes the security guard filing the report felt “at risk of a reprisal type situation by Mayor Rob Ford.”
