TORO NTO - There’s more than an election fight waiting for Mayor Rob Ford if he comes back from rehab in June.

Sam Grosso, co-owner of The El Mocambo and owner of Cadillac Lounge, is challenging Ford to a charity boxing match.

Grosso said he wants to give Ford a “beating” in a boxing ring set up in the El Mocambo to raise funds for a juvenile diabetes charity.

“He’s a big bully so let’s see how tough (Ford) is when he gets into the boxing ring,” Grosso told the Toronto Sun on Wednesday.

Ford has been pretty much out of the spotlight for three weeks since he took a leave of absence and entered rehab after admitting he has a “problem with alcohol.” It isn’t clear when he will be returning.
