TORONTO - A female driver is dead after “deliberately” driving a vehicle into the side of an Oshawa school, police say.

Durham Regional Police Det.-Const. Dave Ashfield said the fatal collision is believed to have occurred around 1 a.m. Wednesday but the first call came in at 5:15 a.m.

“It was intentionally driven into the wall” of the Eastdale Collegiate and Vocational Institute in Oshawa, he said.

A black four-door car was towed away from the scene just after 10 a.m., its front end visibly damaged.
