OTTAWA — The Conservative Party says it won't take bunk from the CBC and will continue to fundraise on the back of what it perceives as biased coverage.

A party spokesman took a swipe at the broadcaster Thursday after the Canadian Press, which sells its services to the CBC, reported on a letter sent in 2010 to Prime Minister Stephen Harper from then-CBC chairman Tim Casgrain.

Casgrain took exception to the Conservatives soliciting donations on comments made by then-CBC pollster Frank Graves of Ekos Research, who rallied the Liberal party in a newspaper interview to "invoke a culture war" with the Conservatives.
