The Red Cross has spent $27.5 million of $42 million raised for last year's massive Alberta flooding.

But the charity says it is still being approached by Albertans who've exhausted financial resources due to the disaster.

Of the money spent, $21 million went to immediate relief, helping some of the 70,000 people aided by the Red Cross.
