"All I could hear is my friend saying 'No, no, no,'" says an Edmonton man who survived a 40-foot fall off a southside parking garage. Twenty-year-old Brin Taylor, an avid cyclist, was biking and taking photographs with friends atop the parkade near the University of Alberta Friday. The group thought it was a good location to get some action shots. But then Taylor's bike caught a lip on the concrete, sending him into a fierce skid towards the building's edge. His brakes jammed up and he was unable to stop the momentum with his feet, and before he knew it, he rolled off the side of the structure.
