TROIS-RIVIERES, Que. — When it comes to kids, seven aren't enough for Joel Lapierre and wife Julie Joseph.

The busy parents from Trois-Rivieres, Que. are in the process of adopting five more children.

Joseph tells QMI Agency that she's organized and ready to grow her already-large family that includes four biological children and three adopted ones.

"It's true that it's a lot, you can't deny that, but the fact that I'm home, it sure makes a big difference," she said.

Joseph and Lapierre plan to travel to war-torn Ukraine in the fall to adopt sets of siblings.

"It's something that attracted us a lot because we said that it would benefit the children," said Lapierre, who already has two adopted Ukrainian brothers.

They had been living in separate orphanages in Ukraine and were thrilled to be reunited under one roof in Canada.

Growing the family won't come cheap, and Lapierre is in the process of raising $85,000 to help make their big family even bigger.
