Lawsuits continue to pile up in the aftermath of last September's collision between an OC Transpo bus and a Via Rail train that killed six in Barrhaven.

University student Joram Kunaka is the latest to sue the City of Ottawa and the estate of David Woodard, the bus driver who died in the crash.

Kunaka's $4-million lawsuit, filed last week, alleges he suffered "grievous personal injuries" in the crash.

His statement of claim says he was travelling on the first floor of the double-decker bus, standing near the front, when the crossing lights at the train crossing began to come down.
