TORONTO — Along with staying away from drugs and alcohol, Mayor Rob Ford also seems to have sworn off talking to the City Hall media.

Three days into his return from rehab, Ford — who is running for re-election — was still ignoring reporters’ questions.

Ford rushed past reporters when he arrived at his office Wednesday morning and used City Hall security to keep the media back as he walked through a public area of the building and into the executive committee meeting.

Amin Massoudi, the mayor’s spokesman, informed reporters Ford wouldn’t take questions Wednesday but refused to say why.

“There will be many opportunities for the mayor to speak to you guys in the coming weeks,” Massoudi said.

He admitted Ford will be having one-on-one interviews with select TV news outlets on Wednesday and denied there were any conditions placed on those interviews.
