OTTAWA ─ Scott Daughtry was watering the grass on Monday when a teen politely asked to leave a flyer.

Minutes later, he was "shocked" to see a picture of a dismembered embryo hanging on his door and along his suburban Ottawa street.

It's a street full of young families so he called police, who said there's nothing they can do.

"This crosses the boundaries," Daughtry said. "When I look at that type of graphic imagery I can't imagine that being considered acceptable as something that you can just deliver to someone's door."

"It's a parent's right to discuss with children ─ not to have someone come stick it on their door," added neighbour Jennifer Archambault.
