TORONTO - A funeral is set for a Newmarket, Ont., teen killed in a freak soccer net accident.

A service for 15-year-old Jaime Palm will be held Tuesday. Visitation will take place Sunday and Monday.

The teen was killed when one of the soccer nets at the Portuguese Cultural Centre in Bradford overturned Wednesday afternoon.

Police said two 15-year-old girls were playing soccer on the field when one became trapped under the crossbar of the net. Palm was transported to hospital, where she died of her injuries.

The funeral will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church in Aurora, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be at Taylor Funeral Home in Newmarket, on Sunday and Monday.
