Two dozen civil servants with Public Works and Government Services Canada have been reprimanded over the past four years for inappropriate use of the Internet at work, including seven who viewed or shared porn.
According to documents obtained by QMI Agency, four civil servants from the justice department were suspended for 20 days and one employee was fired for downloading and watching pornography on their work computers.
One of the documents describes a "flagrant disregard" for the rules in the public works department.
The document says a worker used a government e-mail address to circulate erotic and pornographic material. It contains 66 examples of inappropriate e-mails, with subjects such as "what makes women special?" "Taliban Hooker" and "A grandmother and her tattoos."
