OTTAWA — A burning odour led to the evacuation of an airplane on the tarmac of the Ottawa Airport Monday morning.

All 76 passengers and crew aboard a Canadian North 737 exited the plane at about 10:26 a.m., according to paramedics who responded.

There were no injuries.

The airline made accommodations for the passengers, who are delayed until tomorrow, when the plane is expected to take off on its regular run from Ottawa to Iqaluit.

There had been reports of smoke, but none was seen.

The Federal Transportation Safety board is investigating.
