MONTREAL — A Montreal-area woman has complained to Hydro-Quebec that a utility worker peed on her driveway, grabbed a chair from her patio and took a break on her lawn.
"I was shocked! I found it insulting," said the woman, who preferred not to give her name for fear of reprisals from the employee.
She says she was watching TV last Sunday when the power went out.
That's when she noticed a hydro truck, with two men inside.
"He blocked my husband's car, and he was blocking my car," said the woman.
She snapped pictures with her cellphone when she saw a man in his 50s relieving himself right next to the truck in front of her driveway.
She said the man then relaxed on one of her patio chairs while his colleague climbed the hydro pole on the woman's property.
Hydro-Quebec spokesman Marie-Julie Archambault, called the situation "deplorable" and said there would be a swift investigation.
