Do police rely too heavily on Tasers? Fri, June 19, 2009
Robert Dziekanski’s mother has filed a lawsuit alleging excessive force and “cruel and unusual” treatment by the four RCMP officers who stunned her son with a Taser.
Sorry, Tweetypie, let me elaborate: when I asked for suggestions, I meant on a larger scale, not just tasers/weapons related deaths.

The RCMP have brought more public outrage on to themselves now.Yesterday the lawyer for the RCMP was openly hecckled and yelled at by people in the public gallery at the inquiry.
He tried to make it seem that because Robert had been in minor trouble with the law when he was 17,over 22 years ago, that somehow was relevant in the taser killing by these cops.Mr Braidwood was also upset by that suggestion also
Why cant these killers just admit hey screwed up and they deliberatly gave misinformation to the police inquiry as to what happened that night.
Wally says he is very dismayed to see the public back lash towards the RCMP and the VPD who have their own problems to deal with(but what is new there)
More on that later

wayne who somehow says Wally Opall changed his mind on something( what I dont know because I guess wayne wont say) says I lied.
It is widely known now that all 4 of these cops,by their own admission gave false and misleading statements to the police criminal inquiry
All 4 gave the same INNACURATE statements
In most peoples worlds, that says LIEING
FM says..
"(in this case, it may be justified, but they are innocent until proven guilty"
In this case, they have ALL ADMITTED what they said happened that night did not happen. They have admitted their own guilt
FM also says..
"Unfortunately, I am not hearing any recommendations as to how to fix the problem. Any suggestions?"
Then you have not been paying attention. Because EVERYONE is saying the way to fix this is to not have the police investigate the police. If the criminal investigation had of been carried out the same way this inquiry is(non police investigation)then all the lies the 4 cops told about what happened that night would have been exposed then and most certainly charges would have been laid and there would have been no reason for this inquiry

So I am hearing/reading all of these criticisms of the RCMP (in this case, it may be justified, but they are innocent until proven guilty). Unfortunately, I am not hearing any recommendations as to how to fix the problem. Any suggestions?

Mr Maciak said: “It was obvious his facial features — what you could see of his face — was blue and cyanotic,”
And the four of Canada's finests just stood there, watching this poor man die?
Cpl Robinson testified he thought Dziekanski was snoring.
The medic said anyone with any basic knowledge of first aid would know the snoring sound meant he was unable to breathe
Are they just too busy at the RCMP academy teaching them combat, target practice and crowd control techniques and no CPR, or basic first aid?? Stop the nonsense, just charge these thugs!

wayne asked..
"When did he( Wally Oppal) change his mind?"
Change his mind on what?
wayne asked..
"what happens to citizens who give innacurate information"
Whats that supposed to mean?
Is wayne saying it is OK for cops to lie to a criminal investigation?
All 4 cops have now agreed they gave wrong and misleading info the the criminal investigation. Is wayne saying that was OK for them to do?

last night the BC attorney general said he would make no decisions until the inquiry was over and the report was complete.
When did he change his mind?
Haven't seen anything yet.
Only the ever unreliable twitbrains word
Its quite a change in less than 12 hours and makes no sense.

If I was a convicted criminal who had been put away based on the memory/notes/recollection of one of the morons known as the YVR 4 I would have my lawyer filling appeal immediately....after all, after seeing the testimony of these Royally Corrupt Masochistic Porkers and how one after the other after the other after the other has been proven to be lying (oops I mean they were "mistaken") I am sure nobody would give any credibility to a word coming out of their donut holes.
