Robert Dziekanski’s mother has filed a lawsuit alleging excessive force and “cruel and unusual” treatment by the four RCMP officers who stunned her son with a Taser.
I think there should be a ban on the use of tazers until these deaths are explained. there are alternative methods available for authorities to use

In diagnosing young children lining things up can be a sign of autism (I'm not a doctor - I saw it an article). This may very well be the case.
No matter how you slice it, is there a truly safe way to zap someone with 50,000 volts?

All I can say is, given a choice between being shot by the police and being tazered, I'll take my chances with the tazer. Maybe people need to learn that when the guy with the gun says "get down"; it's not the time to debate who's the boss of you.....

it seems when someone dies from a tazer gun it's always 1 guy vs. more than one officer...if 4 cops cant take one guy down without a tazer they shouldn't be on the force!!

Because you CANNOT know a person's medical physical condition, the use of Taser guns MUST BE STOPPED. They are LETHAL. They have killed too many people. If a person needs to be controlled or constrained, proper training for the officers is needed rather than the use of space cowboy devices. Excessive force is also a NO NO. A 50,000 jolt sent through your body twice = 100,000 (not too good for your ticker, don't you think !!!!!). Perhaps the officers should give themselves a jolt and see how it feels, then perhaps they'll THINK twice before inflicting PAIN into someone. I believe TORTURE IS ILLEGAL...
