I just watched the video.Those 4 rcmp murdered that man.He was clearly scared, and all he got for that was killed.In Canada, for Godsake!by the very people that should have helped him.This is too disgusting to even think about.

Obviously we've only seen one side of this event.

It does appear they resorted to the Taser quickly, however it is obvious this man was acting irrationally. Yelling, smashing computers, building barricades.

In such a case I wouldn't expect anyone to put themselves at risk of injury by physically confronting him. Best option is to wait it out, but after several hours of waiting enough is enough.

I want to know what really happened and the FULL story.

I'd say enjoy prison to them, but we all know they'll get off with a slap on the wrist and will be on the street feeling huge in no time at all.

How can anyone condone the course of action these officers took in this situation. One officer is heard asking if he can use the taser before they even got to the man. Where is human compasion? Why don't you all place yourselves in this poor man's situation. This could be anyone of you or anyone of your relatives. We should not be afraid of our police forces. They are supposed to serve the public but in far too many circumstances lately they get away with using unnecessary force. There are too many bullies in the forces that can't wait for the opportunity to get physical with someone. I know that there are much more good police officers out there than the bullies but something needs to be done to purge these guys from the police forces. I think the trust of the police is probably at an all time low in this country.

I worked in a facility for mentally ill and violent people for many years. It never took more than 4 unarmed unarmed to take down a potentially dangerous individual. Use of TASERS should be banned. These 4 big tough cops clearly demonstrate my opinion.

Not a chance was given to this guy. No doubt he was agitated but he had no weapons and did not seem to be overly aggressive. After initial press release by RCMP, I definitely assumed that guy was aggressive and dangerous, after seeing this video I am ashamed of the actions of cowboy RCMP officers that supposed to act in the best interest of society. How about trying to establish communication first then shoot. RCMP international image of iconic Canadian policemen has been tarnished beyond repair!
